Thoughts

This photograph was made using camera movement. Holding the camera, and using a slow shutter speed, I was able to create this brush-stroke result by panning the camera down as I pressed the shutter. It is challenging to get good results doing this. I find the right amount of slight camera shake also helps, so that the blur isn’t perfectly smooth.
