Grotto

Redbank Gorge is a gem of the Northern Territory. Part of the West Macdonnell Ranges, the walk through the gorge is filled with beautiful trees and an abundance of birds, mainly Budgies.
Here I didn’t have my dry bag, so I swam through the coldest water I have ever been in holding my camera gear in the air with one hand while a friend swam with my tripod. It was risky… but worth it.
The cold started to get to us and hypothermia is a real risk here. Yes the outside temperature was warm, but the water doesn’t see sunlight and really was that cold!
