A year prior to making this photograph, my Karijini trip was less than productive due to unseasonal rain that didn’t stop for 4 days. This end section of Knox Gorge was unaccessible. So this time around it was high on my list of areas to explore. Knox Gorge has some stunning scenery and beautiful warm light in the mornings. I had the gorge entirely to myself for a number of hours which I think is because it is a much harder hike than many of the other gorges. What a brilliant way to spend a morning!
