I love photographing sand dunes. I love looking for the patterns and lines that work together, which when combined with good light, can create a beautiful photograph. I had visited these dunes for the first time 3 years prior. The sky became overcast in the evening, ending all hope of any good light. This time however the light was great. It wasn’t all smooth sailing though. I had been on the road for over 8 hours and after setting up camp, I was short on time. I was literally driving through and running around these dunes in a rush to find something good. This was what I found, in the final moments of the day. Just a couple of minutes later the sun dipped below the horizon and the light faded. Sometimes I don’t mind working under a bit of pressure. It prevents me from second guessing myself
