Desert Guards

I have photographed the Pinnacles Desert in Western Australia many times over the years, but being there for a beautiful sunset had always eluded me. Finally on this particular evening I got the light I had been waiting for! The sky absolutely lit up! Finding, simple, yet strong and compelling compositions here is actually somewhat challenging. It is quite a chaotic place, with these limestone structures rising from the ground in all directions.
