Chasing A Dream

After hiking Cape Naturaliste for 4 hours in search of some wildflowers to photograph at sunset, I hadn’t found anything that really caught my attention and was losing hope in doing so. With less than an hour before sunset I decided to drive further south and stumbled upon this stunning field of pink wildflowers right as the sun reaching through the clouds. The light only lasted a number of minutes and I had to work fast. Once the sun fell below the clouds again the rain also came through. I was so thrilled and couldn’t believe that luck that in the last few minutes I found what I was looking all day for. I love making photographs in the south-west region as it has so much too offer and even though I visit regularly, I know I have barely scratched the surface.
